Detailed Description

Associate Director of Nursing
Trinity in Washington, a comprehensive university in the nation's capital, seeks an Associate Director of Nursing for Trinity's rapidly-growing Nursing Program. The Associate Director will also be an Assistant Professor of Nursing, non-tenure track, and will have some teaching duties as well as administrative responsibilities.

The Associate Director will work with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Faculty to provide all administrative support for the program, including academic advising, curriculum planning, course scheduling, adjunct contracting and supervision, and coordination of supplies and laboratories for Nursing.

Candidates should present at least 3-5 years of academic Nursing experience including both teaching and some administration, as well as clinical experience in Nursing. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a high level of organization, sophistication in personnel management and interpersonal relations, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

An MSN degree is required, doctorate in Nursing highly preferred. Licensure in the District of Columbia will be required if hired, but is not required for consideration of candidacy.
